My name is Dinh Viet Hoang (丁曰煌), and I am currently a lecturer at the National Economics University in Hanoi, Vietnam, where I have the privilege of imparting knowledge and fostering the academic growth of aspiring economists. My journey to this position has been greatly shaped by my academic pursuits, particularly my PhD in the school of International Trade and Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China.

CUFE has given me a great learning environment

Studying in China was a remarkable experience that significantly enriched my academic and personal development. The exposure to a diverse and dynamic academic environment in Beijing broadened my horizons and provided me with a deeper understanding of global economic intricacies. It was a privilege to be immersed in a culture with a rich history and a rapidly evolving economy, and it broadened my perspective on international trade in ways that textbooks could never achieve.

    …and great memories

My PhD journey equipped me with advanced research skills, analytical thinking, and a profound understanding of international trade policies and economics. This knowledge has proven invaluable in my current role as a lecturer, where I have the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of economists. Sharing my experiences and insights from my time in China has been a particularly gratifying aspect of my job, as it allows me to offer a unique perspective on international trade and economics.

Participated in my university’s academic activities

My research, which I conducted during my PhD, also continues to be beneficial in my teaching. It helps me stay at the forefront of economic development and offers my students relevant and up-to-date information. Moreover, my PhD has enabled me to engage in meaningful research collaborations with colleagues from around the world, enhancing the global perspective in our academic community.

    Participated in inernational conference

In conclusion, my PhD experience in China was a transformative journey that expanded my academic and personal horizons. It has played a crucial role in my career as a lecturer, enabling me to offer my students a comprehensive education in international trade and economics. On this occasion, I would like to sincerely thank Professor Tang YiHong and Associate Professor Fu DaHai, who guided me to complete the PhD journey. I would also like to thank the teachers at the School of International Trade and Economics for helping and equipping me with valuable knowledge, which has helped me become more mature in my research capacity. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunities and knowledge I gained during my time in Beijing, and I am committed to sharing those experiences to inspire and educate the future economists of Vietnam.
